Head Coach

Reza Peykarara started as a Sabre Fencer in 1990 and became a Sabre Fencing Coach in 2004. Reza has been an International Fencing Referee and Coach and has refereed over 4,000 matches in 61 international championships in 33 different countries, as well as over 1,500 international matches in Iran. 

He has also been refereeing the Sabre and épée competitions at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games. In the same year, he was recognized and honored by the Asian Fencing Confederation as the continent's top referee for the period from 2022 to 2024.

Reza Peykarara was the Head Coach of Women’s Sabre National Fencing team in Iran from 2015 to 2019, Coach of Men’s Sabre National Fencing team in Iran from 2015 to 2019 and again from 2021 to 2022, Head Coach of Fencing at Qadsia Sporting Club in Kuwait from 2020 to 2021, President of Refereeing Committee of Tehran Province from 2010 to 2019, and was selected as President of Refereeing Commission of Iranian Fencing Federation from 2022 to 2025.
